Sutton Stracke is going to great lengths to repair the strained friendships in her cast. In an exclusive clip from this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Stracke conducts a “ceremony of sisterhood” that leaves some of her fellow co-stars feeling confused.
The clip, obtained by DECIDER, begins with the women standing around their dinner table amid this season’s first cast trip to Oceanside, CA.
“Y’all, I’m gonna say this. I really mean what I wrote. And I thought about it. And I want you to think about it, too,” Stracke says. But what starts as a touching moment quickly becomes awkward as Stracke takes forever to pull her speech up on her phone.
After the other ladies poke fun at her for the delay, Stracke finally continues, “Trust and honesty come to mind as the backbone of real friendship and sisterhood. Friendships are not perfect. There are many ups and downs, twists and turns. But we are all in this together, in sisterhood.”
“Let us join our palms together in solidarity of friendship,” Stracke adds.
Meanwhile, Erika Jayne and Bozoma Saint John have no idea what is going on.
“I’m sorry, are we in cheer camp? Are we in Brownie camp? Girl Scout camp?” Jayne asks in her confessional, while Saint John jokes, “I don’t know what kind of incantations Sutton is saying under her breath to tie us together. Shit, I might be Mrs. Sutton at this point. I don’t want to be Mrs. Sutton, though.”
As Stracke ties everyone’s hands together with a ribbon, she says, “True, solid friendship always…,” before Dorit Kemsley dramatically chimes in, “Stand the test of time.”
The moment couldn’t have been more cinematic as last week’s episode ended with Kemsley and Kyle Richards trading blows amid their ongoing feud.
“I really hope that this ribbon does what Sutton is intending it to do,” Kemsley says in her confessional. “And if not, I hope I can save it in case I need to strangle one of these ladies at some point.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
