Police earlier confirmed officers attended the site on South Creek Road, Cromer, at about 10.45am yesterday.

“A number” of bones had been excavated.

The bones were taken for forensic examination, but police said this morning that results indicated the bones did not belong to a person.

No further investigation will take place.
