He’s a C-SPAN star.
The 6-year-old son of Rep. John Rose (R-Tenn.) stole the show Monday, hamming it up for the cameras as his father delivered remarks on the House floor.
Guy Rose’s adorable antics included directly positioning himself behind in his father – in full view of the camera – as he smiled, rolled his eyes, waggled his tongue and performed some sort of secret sign language all while his congressman dad railed against the guilty verdict in former President Donald Trump’s hush money trial.
“This is what I get for telling my son Guy to smile at the camera for his little brother,” John Rose wrote on X, after his son’s outrageous faces went viral.

“He knows something,” Doug Andres, a spokesman for Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), wrote on X, including a screenshot of the young boy cryptically holding his hands in a triangle during his father’s remarks.
“So sorry I was slow responding to your email, I was tied up watching this over and over again,” Aaron Fritschner, a staffer for Rep. Don Beyer (D-Va.), tweeted, referring to the captivating four-minute-long scene that unfolded on Capitol Hill.
“Rep. Rose’s son is more mature than many regulars on the House floor,” Rep. Dean Phillips (D-Minn.) argued.

Several people on social media pointed out that young Guy’s silliness reminded them of the goofy faces and maniacal waving deployed by Andrew Giuliani during his father Rudy’s 1994 inaugural address.
“Big ‘Andrew Giuliani in 1994’ vibes,” National Review senior writer Dan McLaughlin wrote on X.
Guy, who just recently graduated from kindergarten, will be shadowing his dad on Capitol Hill all week, according to the Associated Press.
