A seven-year-old boy is fighting for life after being hit by a car in Brisbane.

The boy was run over on Alawoona Street in Redbank Plains, west of the city, just before 7pm on Friday.
Paramedics treated the boy at the scene before he was taken to Queensland Children’s Hospital with critical head injuries.
