The newly-appointed president of the Rebels bikie gang has died suddenly at a Perth police station.

Jamie Ginn, 50, was reportedly arrested for breaching a firearms prevention order on Tuesday.

He was taken to the Perth watchhouse where he suffered a seizure and died.

Daily Mail Australia has approached WA police for comment.

In March, Ginn was convicted alongside two other motorcycle gang members for flaunting outlawed gang tattoos under laws introduced in 2021.

The Rebels members were said to be brandishing club ink, and all were alleged to be showing ‘1 percenter’ ink.

Their insignia is a Confederate flag with a cap-wearing skull and 1 per cent patch in the centre to signify they are part of the minority in society who rebel against the rule of law.

‘We no longer live in a free country,’ Ginn said after the ruling.
