The Real Love Boat has been canceled at CBS after just four episodes but will finish out its first season on Paramount+.

The brand new unscripted dating show is a spin on the popular 1970s-’80s romance/comedy series, but attracted low ratings for its first four episodes.

Its ratings were so low that it has been branded the broadcast network’s least watched primetime series of the fall, averaging just under 1.9 million same-day viewers and a measly 0.24 rating in the key ad demographic of adults 18-49. Delayed viewing only gave the first two episodes a boost to 2.59 million viewers and a 0.3 among adults 18-49.

Paramount+ is also currently streaming the first four episodes that aired on CBS.

To fill the slot, CBS will bump up The Amazing Race (which is down 18 percent in viewers versus last season) an hour from 10 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET/PT.

By airing The Amazing Race immediately after Survivor, the network intends to boost ratings since the series has thrived there in the past.

The Real Love Boat is hosted by Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell and brings single people together on a cruise ship in search of love. It is produced by Eureka Productions and Buster Productions with executive producers Chris Culvenor, Paul Franklin, Wes Dening, Eden Gaha and Jay Bienstock at the helm.
