Real estate mogul Alex Sapir, son of the late Soviet-era billionaire Tamir Sapir, has listed his Miami home for a cool $54 million.
The property — at 126 and 206 W. San Marino Dr. on the Venetian Islands — features a five-bedroom, 5½-bath home, plus a teardown on 0.6 acres with 150 feet on the water overlooking the downtown skyline.
Sapir, who is in the midst of a divorce from his wife Yanina, is also selling out his record-breaking building Arte in Surfside, Fla., which attracted residents such as Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner. (The two rented there while construction has proceeded on their nearby mansion.)
Tamir Sapir and his then-partner, Sam Kislin, helped give Donald Trump his start before the construction of Trump Tower in New York. The Sapirs then went on to help fund Trump Soho. They were so close that Alex and his then-brother-in-law Rotem Rosen traveled to Moscow with Trump on his 2013 trip.

For his part, the late Tamir Sapir was also known for owning lavish homes, such as an over-the-top mansion in Great Neck, N.Y., which he expanded.

Tamir Sapir also once owned a palatial home at 1009 Fifth Ave., which he sold for $44 million in 2010 to Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim, who now wants $80 million for it.
Alex Sapir is presently in Cannes with his Paris-based girlfriend, the TV host Leila Ben Khalifa, and planning an expansion of Arte-branded residences in Western Europe and the Middle East, sources say.
In Miami, his main house boasts an open floor plan, a media room and an office.
There’s also an eat-in chef’s kitchen, a family room, a library, a home theater a wine cellar and a bar — plus an outdoor pool, a spa, a gazebo and a summer kitchen. There’s even a dock that can be expanded.
“It’s a trophy property with the ultimate postcard of downtown Miami’s skyline on the Biscayne Bay, with the added benefit that you can expand your compound with the adjacent lot in the best location on the Venetian Islands,” said listing broker Dora Puig of Luxe Living Realty.
