Randall Cobb’s latest Instagram post didn’t go unnoticed by Packers alums — including one of the newest members of the Jets.
In a video shared Monday, the free-agent wide receiver is seen grinding in a gym as he prepares for his next NFL chapter following his second stint with Green Bay.
“We may not know which way to go on this dark road…,” the 32-year-old Cobb captioned the clip.

Newly signed Jets receiver Allen Lazard immediately mocked Cobb over the timing of his post, as Aaron Rodgers’ trade from Green Bay to New York transpired that same same day.
“Bruh saw the trade go through and got right to it,” Lazard, 27, quipped in the captions.
Former Packers quarterback Kurt Benkert also replied, “Timing + execution, well done.”

Cobb and Lazard were among the veterans in Rodgers’ receiving corps last season.
Lazard agreed to a four-year, $44 million deal with the Jets in March after five seasons with the Packers.
Since signing with the Jets, Lazard has been spotted training with Rodgers, who had been linked to the team throughout much of the offseason.
Aaron Rodgers traded to the Jets
On Monday, after months of speculation and rumors, the Jets and Packers came to an agreement on a trade that brings four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers to New York.
The trade immediately upgrades the Jets from rising team to playoff contender with the hopes that Rodgers will help break one of the longest active postseason droughts in sports.
The trade
The Jets receive: Aaron Rodgers, No. 15 pick (2023) and No. 170 pick (2023).
The Packers receive: No. 13 pick (2023), No. 42 pick (2023), No. 207 pick (2023) and a conditional second-round 2024 draft pick that conveys to a first-rounder if Rodgers plays 65% of the Jets’ plays in 2023.

What comes next
The trade still needs to be finalized — the terms of Rodgers’ contract need to be worked out — and sent to the NFL.
Both teams will begin feeling this deal as early as Thursday at the 2023 NFL Draft.
For the Packers, it’s now about getting fourth-year QB Jordan Love ready to take over. With Gang Green, it’s about getting a whole host of new faces on the same page offensively.

The Jets and Packers finally agreed on a deal Monday to send the 39-year-old quarterback to New York.
The four-time league MVP, who touched down in New Jersey on Tuesday night, will be introduced by the Jets on Wednesday afternoon.
Rodgers spent the past 18 seasons in Green Bay, where he “fell in love with the game, met some lifelong friends,” and made “memories that will last a lifetime.”

“I’m not sure it’s possible to fully express the gratitude that I have to the @packers , our incredible fans, the state of Wisconsin, the thousands of players that I crossed paths with, the incredible men and women who work for the organization, and the amazing people who I got to meet along the way, in one post with 10 pictures, but I hope you read this and feel my heart and soul, filled with love, joy, and peace about my time in green and gold,” Rodgers wrote Tuesday in an Instagram tribute.
“This is not the end for us, I will see you again Green Bay, you’ll always have my heart.”

When Rodgers does suit up for the Jets, he won’t be wearing No. 12, which is what he sported throughout his NFL career.
Instead, he’ll be wearing No. 8, the same digit he wore during his two seasons at California.
The Jets’ legendary quarterback, Joe Namath, previously wore No. 12, which was retired in 1985.
