Before the start of the NFL season, having a Monday night game between the Green Bay Packers and the defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams seemed like a great idea. Now, not so much.
Kickoff for tonight’s game will start at 8:15 p.m. ET and will be broadcasted on ABC and ESPN.
Rams vs. Packers prediction
The Rams and Packers were two of the favorites to reach the Super Bowl out of the NFC. However, neither team has come close to meeting its preseason expectations and enter this game a combined 9-17.

The difference though is while the Packers are closing out a disappointing season, they still have most of their starters in the lineup. The Rams are without numerous stars, including Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp, while Aaron Donald is questionable with an ankle injury.
Los Angeles is riding high after last week’s come-from-behind win over the Raiders when Baker Mayfield literally walked off the street to lead the Rams to victory. Keep in mind though, the score was 16-3 midway through the fourth quarter before the Raiders choked away another win. The Rams only managed 282 total yards and were held to 4.6 yards per play.
Betting on the NFL?
Laying a touchdown with the Packers may seem like a bit much but had the Raiders not imploded in the fourth quarter, I think the line would be closer to -9. Look for Mayfield to struggle against a Green Bay pass defense ranked fifth in the NFL and for Aaron Rodgers and Co. to cover the number at home.
