Queenslanders in the state’s north have been warned “it’s not over yet” after enduring weeks of wild rain and floods.
Thunderstorms and heavy rain which could cause flash flooding are possible across a swathe of the state’s north today.
Communities in the state’s north have been cut off and stranded for days due to the severe weather, which has left supplies at some supermarkets dwindling.
“It’s not over yet. We’re still feeling the impacts of heavy rain on our network across the state. So even if it’s stopped raining, make sure you check QLDTraffic for the latest updates to save you from driving in and around unsafe conditions,” Transport and Main Roads Queensland warned on Twitter.
