Multiple police sources told 9News the allegation was made by a woman after officers last night attended the home of a current player at a Queensland club.
“I spoke to that player who was accused of this a short time ago, he did not make any comment and hung up the phone,” 9News reporter Tim Arvier said.
The player’s club said it was unaware of the allegations.
