Residents of a Queensland street have been left terrified after a local father and fruit shop owner was shot inside his own home overnight.
Sam Naaman was shot in the stomach while answering the front door of his Kingston home.
Investigators are investigating whether the attack was targeted and an instance of organised crime.
Neighbours called police just before 11pm and officers raced to the scene before they searched nearby homes.
Detectives are reviewing a video of a motorbike leaving moments after the shooting.
No arrests or charges have been made at this stage.
Naaman’s family told 9News his stomach had been operated on extensively and he was conscious and talking today.
