She said flyers can wedge the napkin in the between their phone and phone case then slot it in the tray table lock.

The Sydney investment pro told listeners about the trick on her podcast after she saw someone do it online.

‘They took off the case of their phone, they basically put a napkin in between the case and the phone,’ she said.

She said to then secures the napkin or sick bag behind the tray table with the sliding lock.

Queenie said it was ‘basically the same thing’ as having a screen on the back of the seat in front.

Almost 13,000 people were impressed with Queenie’s travel tip after she posted it to her popular social media channels.

‘Good to know since I’m about to head on a long trip soon!’ one woman said.

‘Why bother buying a standing case that I bought from eBay?’ laughed another.

‘Don’t even need a napkin if you use the sickness bag,’ a third suggested.

‘Stoooop with the napkin. I’m totally trying this out’ a third wrote while a fourth said: ‘I do this all the time’.

Queenie is a seasoned traveller and known online for sharing money-saving tips and tricks.

Previously she revealed how to rack up Qantas frequent flyer points just by walking.

Queenie downloaded the Qantas Wellbeing app which gives users points for hitting their daily step count as well as things like exercising and getting a good night’s sleep.

After a week of putting the app to the test, the 26-year-old had collected more than 600 points.

Queenie said while the program doesn’t draw in ‘heaps’ of points, it’s a great way to earn for doing ‘easy’ things and ensure the points don’t expire.

Frequent flyers have previously discovered the trick and said the app is generous with giving out points at the beginning but you’ll have to sign up to Qantas health insurance to keep the big rewards coming.

‘Did you know you can earn Qantas points by walking? But does it actually work?’ Queenie said in a video posted to her popular social media channels.

She downloaded the Qantas Wellbeing App and collected points by logging her sleep, step count, car checkups and phone usage.

‘I slept at the right time every night without checking my phone and earned 17 points. I reached my daily step count and earned 31 points,’ Queenie explained.

How Queenie earned 624 Qantas points

Step count – 31.5 points

Tyre pressure – 25 points

Invited two friends – 300 points

Check brakes – 50 points

Blood pressure – 50 points

Reduce distractions – 75 points

Home security – 75 points

Total after one week = 624 points

She also checked the tyre pressure and brakes on her car, invited friends to join the app, and logged her blood pressure.

By the end of the week Queenie had an extra 624 Qantas points on her account.

‘I think it’s a really great app if you want to earn points doing easy every day things and it’s also a good way to ensure that your Qantas points don’t expire,’ she said.

Viewers were wowed by the hack and rushed to download the app for themselves while others said they have enjoyed reaping its benefits.

‘Yesss!! Getting this!’ one woman said and another wrote: ‘DOWNLOADING’.

‘Maybe this is the accountability buddy I need to get to bed on time!’ laughed a third.

‘Love this app! You can get points from daily and weekly step goals, sleep challenges and also from step challenges with your friends!’ said a fourth.

However not everyone was convinced with one saying it would take 50 years to gain enough points for a one way ticket from Melbourne to Sydney.

‘It’s only 18,000 points return from Sydney to Melbourne – so it would take you 28 weeks! But still, it’s not heaps of points!’ Queenie replied.

‘You forgot to mention that after the first week, you will start to earn 10 times less points doing the same activities. Still a nice app,’ someone pointed out.

Previously a thrifty flyer said the app was ‘too good to be true’ and earned more than 100 points in less than 24 hours with her step count alone – but many pointed out the small catch.

‘Day 1 today of sitting around the office doing very low step count! Easy points! Will set sleep points tonight,’ she said in a post to popular Facebook group Qantas Points Collectors.

While the app can be used without signing up to Qantas health insurance, many said the rewards are greater for those who sign up to a plan after the 28-day trail period.

‘For the trial period you get more points. After that ends you need to take out insurance to get the full points. You’ll still get some points regardless though for very little effort and every point counts, plus it keeps the account active,’ one flyer explained.

‘To maximise the wellness app you need Qantas health insurance as well. You get 10 times the amount of points,’ another agreed.
