The NRL is investigating a wild brawl between Roosters and Rabbitohs fans at Accor Stadium on Friday night.
Footage online showed more than 10 supporters exchanging punches before security attempted to intervene.
Daily Mail Australia understands the incident unfolded late in the second half, with 22 people escorted from the venue.
‘The NRL will work with the venue, security and NSW Police to identify instigators and take action through the NRL Spectator Code of Conduct,’ an NRL spokesperson said.
‘Anti-social or abusive behaviour at NRL matches will not be tolerated.’
A NSW Police spokesperson confirmed inquiries are ongoing.
‘About 9.40pm last night (Friday 4 March 2025), police and security at a stadium in Sydney Olympic Park were called to a section of stands following reports of a brawl during a football game,’ the spokesperson told News Corp.
‘Officers were told two groups of people were involved in the brawl.
