Tonight’s draw was worth $50 million in division one but no one took out the top prize, the fourth winless draw in a row.
The winning numbers were 30, 2, 5, 25, 16, 32 and 34 with 7 the Powerball.
The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said it was only the eighth time the major prize had hit $100 million.
“Could Powerball welcome its first division one winner for 2024 next week if someone scoops the entire pool and wins $100 million? Only time will tell,” he said, in a statement.
“If just one player wins the entire jackpot, they’ll not only receive a massive boost to their bank account, but they’ll also share the crown of Australia’s second biggest individual lottery winner ever.”
