Chloe Prince and her three-month-old daughter were found dead by Prince’s partner inside their Robinson Road home at Morley at 11.10am on Monday.
Prince’s partner needed to seek support after making the horrifying discovery, Police Commissioner Col Blanch said.
“He’s clearly suffered a massively traumatic experience, he had to seek immediate medical help for what he was dealing with,” Blanch said.
Blanch said it was one of the worst scenes a police officer could turn up to.
“Major crime [detectives] are certainly doing a very thorough investigation.”
