Queensland police officers have shot a female in the abdomen in Townsville.
Authorities were called to a West End hotel on Ingham Road just before 5.30pm, after reports a woman armed with a knife was making threats.
Police alleged she came at officers, which is when she was shot.
Officers provided first aid and the woman was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police have cordoned off the crime scene as investigations into the incident continue.
