City of London Police said the ongoing situation was not being treated as “terror-related”.
“We received reports of three stabbings and a person pushed to the floor on Bishopsgate at 9.46am and officers arrived at the scene at 9.51am,” police said, on Twitter.
“Three victims were taken by LAS to a nearby hospital to be treated.”

Police earlier said a cordon had been established.
“A cordon is currently in place.”
While the Met Police has jurisdiction across greater London, City of London Police is responsible for policing the so-called “square mile” that contains the city’s historic centre.
