New information has led to police searching a home in central NSW over the suspicious death of a baby girl in 2018.

Paramedics were called to home at Binnaway about 10am on July 23, 2018 to reports a nine-month-old girl was unresponsive.

The child was rushed to Coonabarabran Hospital but died shortly after getting to hospital.

At the time, police established a crime scene at the home, deeming the little girl’s death to be suspicious.

Police have said that despite extensive inquiries in 2018 and in the years since, no one has been charged over the death.

Investigators carried out a search at a home at Binnaway from about 10am yesterday after receiving new information about the case.

Police are also calling for the community to offer any information the case.

Anyone with information is urged to contact detectives at Gilgandra Police Station or provide information through Crime Stoppers.
