The bodies of a mother and her teenage daughter have been found at a home in Sydney’s north-west as police probe their mysterious deaths.

Police made the grim discovery after they were called to Menzies Road in Marsfield about 10.20am today for a welfare check.

They arrived to find Jennifer Carrig, 54, and her 13-year-old daughter dead.

A crime scene has been established and detectives have begun an investigation into their deaths.

Police are unable to confirm whether their deaths are suspicious.
