Five people are sought over an arson attack on a business in Greensborough, Melbourne, on the weekend.

It’s understood the group attended the business on Para Road at about 3.55am.

They gained entry and set fire to three cars.

The group also used red spray paint to write slogans on the cars and on a building wall.

One of the cars was destroyed, while the other two sustained moderate damage.

Police believe the five left the property over the back fence and were last seen travelling on e-bikes, going south-west along Plenty River.

All of the give wore black hooded jumpers, backpacks, and gloves.

Investigators are also establishing whether there are any links to the recent arson attack on a synagogue in Melbourne’s east, but no connections have been identified so far.
