The body of a 56-year-old man was discovered by emergency services at a property on McSwain Road, Echuca, about 7.30pm yesterday.
A 30-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken into custody.
Police said he is yet to be interviewed but it’s believed the men were known to each other.
“The exact circumstances surrounding the death are yet to be determined at this stage and investigations remain ongoing,” police said.
