Police are looking for a man who allegedly threatened a home’s resident with a gun before setting fire to the property in Brisbane.

Mitchell Wilson went to the home in Lister Street, Sunnybank in Brisbane’s south with the gun, threatened the owner and set fire to the home at 9.15pm on Thursday, Queensland Police allege.

Nobody was hurt but the house was destroyed.

Wilson also allegedly fired a gun multiple times while with a man he knew at South Pine Road at Brendale in nearby Moreton Bay earlier that day at 2.45pm.

He also allegedly pointed a gun at two women he knew on Logan Road at Mount Gravatt in Brisbane at 8.55pm that night, and fired as they ran away.

“Mr Wilson is believed to be armed and should not be approached,” Queensland Police, said.

He is white, around 185cm tall with a solid build, light brown hair and hazel eyes.
