A Mercedes-Benz and a Toyota Landcruiser collided at the intersection of Renoir Crescent on Forest Lake Boulevard in Forest Lake in the city about 10.10pm on Saturday.

The 28-year-old male driver of the Mercedes-Benz, who is from south Brisbane was rushed to hospital along with his three passengers.

They were a man, 22, from Forest Lake, another man aged 22 from Doolandella and a woman, 20, from Redbank.

The other driver, a 52-year-old Forest Lake woman, was also taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Two of the patients are in a critical condition.

Footage from the scene shows two vehicles lying upside down on the road.

Dr Steven Rashford from Queensland Ambulance Service said five ambulances and two critical care paramedics were sent to what he called a “very high-impact crash”.

“All patients suffered a combination of life-threatening injuries including internal bleeding and fractures,” he said.

Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

They are also looking for anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage of the white 2019 Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG coupe with Queensland registration DPN168
