On the March 22 episode of “The View,” Chelsea Clinton came out in defense of Barron Trump, stating that he deserves privacy, no matter his age. “I think he’s a private citizen. I feel so strongly that if you are a private citizen, you have an unimpeachable right to privacy, and I think the media should leave him alone,” she explained. When co-host Joy Behar asked if the same courtesy should be given to Barron’s older siblings, Ivanka, Eric, and Donald Jr., Clinton said it was a different type of situation. “I think his older siblings, who served the administration and who were campaign surrogates, I think they put themselves in the public domain,” she added. “It’s a totally different conversation.”
This isn’t the first time Clinton has expressed support for Barron. A month after Donald Trump became the 45th U.S. President, the Metrodora Ventures co-founder took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to send a message to those targeting the youngest Trump, who was 11 years old at the time. “Barron Trump deserves the chance every child does – to be a kid. Standing up for every kid also means opposing POTUS policies that hurt kids,” she tweeted.
