Ryan Grafton, 30, died when another car crashed into the ride sharing vehicle he was travelling in about 2.15am last Tuesday.
It’s alleged a man in a stolen car sped through a red light and ploughed into the Uber on Boundary Road at Wacol in Brisbane’s south-west.
His friend Amelia Vinden, 26, and Uber driver Hussein Ali Mohamed, 46, were both injured in the crash.
Today, police released a photo of Kai Fursey, who they want to speak to about the crash.
There is also video showing a figure running down the street, allegedly fleeing the scene of the fatal crash.
Grafton’s sister begged Fursey to come forward and hand himself in to police.
“If you have a shred of decency, hand yourself in,” Lauren Bennett said.
” … do the right thing for our family, give us some closure.”
The public is warned not to approach Fursey and instead call police if they see him.
