Shocking dashcam footage has caught a speeding car crashing into another driver and concrete guiderail before rolling numerous times and bursting into flames.

The southbound Lexus RX 350 can be seen aggressively crossing multiple lanes of traffic and subsequently crashing into an Audi S3 travelling in the same direction on the Mitchell Freeway in Leederville, near Perth’s CBD, at 6:10pm on Monday.

Miraculously, the driver and his two passengers all survived the incident and were seen crawling out of the mangled, burning vehicle and fleeing from the 100km/h freeway on foot through nearby brush.

Police are actively searching for the trio, who are believed to have made their way towards nearby Lake Monger.

Emergency services attempting to quell the flames blocked the freeway for hours, bringing Perth traffic to a halt.

Southbound commuters consequentially found themselves in a kilometres-long standstill.

One of the witnesses to the startling crash was WA Upper House MP Wilson Tucker.

‘Honestly at one point I think this car was airborne,’ Mr Tucker told 7NEWS.

‘It certainly rolled a number of times.

‘It’s a very shocking incident and we didn’t think anyone was walking away from this.’
