A person has died after falling from rooftop venue 2KW Bar and Restaurant in Adelaide

A person has died after falling from a building onto the pavement outside a popular hospitality venue.

Emergency services rushed to the scene near 2KW Bar and Restaurant, in Adelaide’s CBD, on Sunday following the fatal fall.

The bar is well-known as one of Adelaide’s best rooftop venues and sits on the eighth floor of the heritage-listed former Bank of New South Wales building.

Four South Australian Metropolitan Fire Service units, two ambulances and three police vehicles attended the scene. 

Police blocked off King William St at the intersection with North Tce, The Advertiser reported. 

The fall is being treated as a mental health incident.
