Paul Pelosi looks healthy and robust at Balthazar lunch with Nancy

Paul Pelosi is not only back on his feet but he’s living it up with the cool kids, it seems.

We’re told that Pelosi, 82, turned heads when he and wife Nancy showed up for lunch on at Balthazar on Thursday.

Paul was, of course, hit over the head with a hammer in a horrific home invasion in October and had surgery to repair his skull.

But a fellow diner told us that the couple walked past them on the way to their table and that “he was standing upright and looked completely fine, except that he was wearing a hat.” They added, “I’ve read that he’s been wearing a hat when he’s out of the house to cover a scar.”

“Just from a human point of view, my politics aside, to see him up and walking around and looking alert and in good shape, was just great,” added the spy, who may have been the only Republican in New York City between 14th Street and Chambers.

They added that both he and the freshly retired Speaker looked “thrilled to be out and about.”

The Béarnaise source added that the pair appeared to have extra security, adding, “I don’t blame them!”

The Keith McNally spot appears to be something of a favorite of the pair, who were married in 1963. They also reportedly ate there in January.

Also seen at the supernaturally scene-y spot: Harper’s Magazine owner John Rick MacArthur and editor Lake Micah lunching together.

Venture capitalist Paul made his first public appearance after the attack at the Kennedy Center Honors in December.

The spirited appearance at lunch seems like an encouraging sign. Nancy had said on “Who’s Talking To Chris Wallace?” in late January that it could be “months” before Paul was “back to normal.”

The San Francisco Police Department arrested his assailant at the scene. He has been changed with attempted homicide, among other crimes.
