Shocking video footage has emerged of a helicopter crash in Colombia.

Six people survived the crash in Medellín, Colombia on February 27 (local time), with the ordeal caught on cameras inside and outside the helicopter.

Footage shows the engine slowing, then coming to a complete stop, as the helicopter spirals out of the air, getting stuck upside down between a building and a telephone pole.

The city’s Department of Disaster Risk Management said all passengers made it out of the crash alive, with the help of 70 emergency workers.

Colombian National Police, firefighters, first responders and health personnel all helped in the recuse operation, the Department of Disaster Risk Management said.

Medellín’s Mayor, Fico Gutiérrez, confirmed on X that everyone survived the crash.

Passengers can be heard in the moments leading up to the crash in a video seemingly taken from inside the helicopter.

“Dad I just got in a helicopter crash I’m stuck in a building and I’m really high up,” one passenger can be heard saying on the video.

“I’m going to live through this Dad, I just want to say I love you. I’m stuck in a telephone pole.”

Areonuatic authorities in Colombia are investigating the cause of the crash, CNN reported. 

The flight was part of a dining experience, with four passengers and two pilots on board.

Miraculously, no one was hurt in the incident.
