Dozens of people were reportedly trapped after the floor of a parking garage collapsed on to another leaving cars piled up in New York City on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident occurred at 57 Ann Street between Nassau Street and William Street in lower Manhattan.

There are initial reports of three injuries, two minor, one serious but not life-threatening, reports NBC New York.

The floors of the building collapsed around 4:15 pm resulting in dozens of injuries. Video from the scene showed destroyed concrete after one floor of the building fell on to another.
Online records show that the address is the location of Enterprise Ann Parking.
Mayor Eric Adams has been briefed on the situation. The location of the parking garage is close to New York City Hall. A press release advised New Yorkers to expect delays on the evening commute.
At the time of writing, firefighters have been unable to enter the building because it could collapse further.
