Police have charged two men for allegedly breaking into the Sydney home of former world boxing champion Jeff Fenech and targeting his luxury Audi car.

The two men, aged 29 and 20, were later caught in a nearby park and also charged with attempting to break into a home in Wareemba, before moving onto Fenech’s house.

CCTV allegedly showed the pair on Fenech’s property in Five Dock, in Sydney’s inner west, scoping out his Audi and busting through a side gate, early yesterday morning. (Nine)

Fenech and his family were asleep at the time of the alleged break-in, when the pair allegedly broke in and took a set of keys which did not open the Audi.

The four-time world champion, known as the Marrickville Mauler, said he had a Rolex watch next to the keys, which was not taken.

Fenech’s boxing memorabilia was also left untouched.
