As A-listers face off to take home a win on Hollywood’s night of nights, stars have gradually started to make their way to the Oscars red carpet.
The Academy Award winners in all 23 categories will be revealed live this year, unlike in 2022, when several award presentations were prerecorded in an effort to shorten the traditionally lengthy show.
With winner anticipation reaching all-time highs in the final hours before showtime, here’s all the glitz, glamour and fashion from the 2023 Oscars – live from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

This year, for the first time in six decades, the red carpet will be champagne-coloured, in keeping with the latest in a trend of colourful carpets sweeping premieres.
Organisers said they wanted the move to look like a “mellow” sunset.
