Olivia Dunne is getting back into shape for gymnastics and has a simple message about what “cardio day” is like at LSU.
The gymnast had revealed on Sunday in an Instagram story that she was back at LSU, followed by a new video on her TikTok in which she and her fellow Lady Tigers are lying down on a mat in the gym, conceivably after a tough practice.
Coach Jay Clark started the video by lip-syncing to audio, “Never back down, never what?”
The camera then panned to Dunne, sitting on the floor with her teammates, with the response, “Never give up.”
The bit repeated as the team and Dunne looked exhausted.
Dunne even appeared to be holding back some laughs.
“Tigers never back down on cardio day,” Dunne captioned the TikTok.
The social media sensation, who boasts 7.7 million followers on Instagram, is back on campus as a whirlwind summer winds down.

Dunne, 20, was featured in a spread in this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and even took on a bit of hosting duties at July’s ESPY Awards in Los Angeles, where she cheered on her fellow Lady Tigers.
But the big news came more recently when it was revealed Dunne was dating Paul Skenes, the No. 1 draft pick of the Pirates in this year’s MLB draft.
Also an LSU alumnus, Skenes told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that dating the star gymnast has been nice, but does come with its downsides.
“It can be a pain in the butt sometimes, to be honest, in terms of actually going somewhere. If one of us went out in Baton Rouge [La.] by ourselves, there’s probably gonna be someone there asking for something — picture, autograph, whatever,” the 21-year-old Skenes said.

“It’s nice to be able to have that conversation. She does get it. I do wish she could come to a baseball game and just enjoy it. It does irk me. I don’t have any control over it. She really doesn’t either.
“I’m sure it’ll get better as I go up levels, but that’s something I want for her.”
Dunne, the NCAA’s highest-earning female athlete, is entering her senior year at LSU.
