Olivia Culpo roasted for her over-the-top maternity bag items: ‘Are you camping in the hospital?’

Olivia Culpo, who is close to giving birth to her first child, sparked hilarious reactions and major eye-rolls from fellow moms online over the extravagant items she chose to pack for her maternity bag.

The influencer, 33, shared what she packed in a TikTok video Friday captioned, “Everything I’m bringing to the hospital- so ready to meet baby! 🤍”

Culpo noted she was planning on bringing all of the items to the hospital in “two large suitcases.”

She explained some “comfort” items were her own pillows for “beauty sleep,” “extra fluffy” comforters, sleep masks, a mini-fan and flameless flickering candles, which she admitted were “ridiculous.”

The Miss Universe 2012 winner then shared her list of “essentials,” which included a nursing bra, “nipple butter,” electrolytes powder, and an electronics bag that included a camera and extension cord.

“If you’re filming your birth, bring a tripod,” she advised to nearly 1 million TikTok followers.

For clothing options, Culpo packed a robe, lounge set, pajama sets, a smock dress and an all-black Cashmere outfit, which prompted her to realize, “This is probably getting ridiculous.”

“A lot of this stuff is more luxuries, as opposed to essentials, and I’m aware of that,” she added later in the clip. “I thought it would make my hospital stay more comfortable. I hope you guys find it useful.”

“This is genuinely one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen in my entire life,” one user wrote in the comments section, while another pointed out, “All the white is… bold.”

A third person pointed out, “pillows haha you are literally going to get no sleep in the hospital lol they are about to be in your room every two hours asking a thousand questions.”

“Are you camping in the hospital?” quipped a fourth, while a fifth added, “Olivia is too cute. the hospital must be so thrilled she’s moving in.”

However, one social media user gave her some grace, writing, “She’s a first time mom, she’ll learn what she needs and not after this. But for now, for her, comfort is 10000% the goal 😌.”

Culpo, herself, had a good sense of humor about what she packed in her maternity bag, though.

She concluded, “If you didn’t find any of this helpful and you think I’m ridiculous and that I overpacked: 1. I slightly agree with you and 2. You made it this far in the video and I commend you for that.”

The former Miss USA announced in March that she and husband Christian McCaffrey are expecting their first child together writing alongside black-and-white maternity shots, “next chapter, motherhood.”

Culpo and the NFL star, 29, tied the knot in a lavish Rhode Island wedding in June 2024.
