Sock-cessful style statement — or just plain silly?

Rihanna hit the streets of NYC Sunday wearing what at first appeared to be a set of slouchy socks — but was actually a pair of pricey designer shoes.

The Fenty Beauty founder sported Bottega Veneta’s Domenica boots ($1,100), which feature a knit cotton upper and hidden flat soles.

Rihanna scrunched down the tops of her boots, layering a pair of actual socks with green stripes underneath.

As for the rest of her look, the “Rude Boy” singer wore a blue-and-white quarter-zip Awake NY pullover ($237 $201) and matching white track pants ($145) with blue stripes down the sides.

She added black sunglasses and a camouflage-print Dior saddle bag, topping her off-duty look with a navy New York Yankees cap featuring an embroidered “Astor Club 2022” patch on the side.

The Grammy winner and her partner, A$AP Rocky, have been enjoying some family time in the Big Apple over the past week with sons RZA, 2, and Riot, 9 months.

They celebrated RZA’s second birthday at the Color Factory on May 11, with Rihanna wearing a gray fur coat and baggy gray jeans as she exited the interactive kids’ museum holding baby Riot.

And on Mother’s Day, A$AP and RiRi headed out for a glam date night, with the pop star wearing sheer red gloves and a head-turning red Comme des Garçons dress with a high slit.

Perhaps she can get some red sock boots to go with her next date-night ‘fit.
