NYC’s Port Authority Bus Terminal closes after buses crash at transit hub

Two buses crashed at the New York Port Authority Bus Terminal Wednesday morning, authorities said — forcing the terminal to shut down during rush hour.

“New York Port Authority Bus Terminal is closed due to a multi bus accident,” NJ Transit said in a post on X.

“NJ TRANSIT bus service  traveling to and from the New York Port Authority Bus Terminal is being diverted to Secaucus Junction,  Newark Penn Station and Hoboken Terminal. All trains will stop at Secaucus.”
