“Officers from Central West Police District attended and located the body of a 28-year-old woman inside,” police said.
“A crime scene was established, and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death has commenced under Strike Force Trenchard.”
Shortly after, the 29-year-old man was arrested in the nearby town of Fifield, a little under 100km north-west of Forbes.
He was charged with murder (DV) as well as contravening a prohibition/restriction in an apprehended violence order.
He was refused bail to appear in Orange Local Court.
