‘Northern Exposure’ actress Diane Delano dies at 67

Actress Diane Delano, known for her work on the TV series “Northern Exposure,” has died. She was 67.

A rep for the late star confirmed Delano’s death to TMZ, telling the outlet that she passed away at her home in Los Angeles on Friday following a brief illness.

Delano’s official cause of death has not been released.

The actress played Sergeant Barbara Semanski on “Northern Exposure,” which ran from 1990 until 1995.

She also appeared in the 2006 film “The Wicker Man,” starring Nicholas Cage, along with numerous TV credits including “Popular,” “Days of Our Lives,” “St. Elsewhere,” “L.A. Law” and “Perfect Strangers.”
