Taylor Swift’s father will not face charges after a Sydney paparazzo claimed he was assaulted by him last month.
A photographer accused Scott Swift of punching him at a ferry wharf in Neutral Bay, following Swift’s last show in Australia on February 27.
Sharing his account with media after the alleged incident, McDonald said one of Swift’s security guards had forced an umbrella into his face and camera.
Scott Swift punched him after that, he alleged.
Police began investigating the incident at the time, and announced today that “no further police action” would be taken as “no offences were detected”.
“No offences were detected and the investigation was concluded with no further police action required,” NSW police said.
Swift was in Sydney wrapping up her Australian leg of the Eras Tour, after playing three sold out shows at the Melbourne Cricket Ground and four sold-out shows at Accor Stadium.
