Yogis were shocked to see noted night owl Mayor Eric Adams at an early morning yoga session hosted by India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the UN this week.
“Mayor Adams was there at 8 a.m.,” said a flexible spy. “I almost fainted,” the source added, noting they always hear about Adams being “out till 4 a.m.”
The spy added they weren’t the only one in the downward-dog set doing a double take. “People were surprised to see him,” they said.
Adams gave a speech at the yoga session, which was also reportedly attended by Richard Gere and singer Mary Millben.
The controversial Indian leader, who has been accused of human rights abuses, was stateside to meet with President Joe Biden.
Meanwhile, a source told us that Adams attending the international yoga event pointed to Hizzoner’s designs on the US presidency.
Back in 2022, he denied a report in The Post that he was eyeing the job for 2024.

“That’s a silly, silly story. I never had a conversation about that and I love being mayor, and you can run the country from New York,” he said.
Besides any political aspirations, the former cop is known for partying with celebs and staying out late at the city’s hot spots, including his favorite private club, Zero Bond.
Last week, Adams was spotted pulling up to Lavo after 1 a.m. to celebrate a new documentary, “For Khadija,” about his rapper friend French Montana.
A source tells us that once inside, Adams was spotted rubbing elbows with the “Unforgettable” rapper and action hero Vin Diesel.
Spies had called Page Six after seeing cops shut down the block outside the club, assuming it was for the party-hopping pol.
But the NYPD tells us it had nothing to do with Adams.
“Large numbers of pedestrians were spilling off the sidewalk onto the street resulting in a public safety concern,” said the cops of the event that was part of Robert De Niro’s Tribeca Film Festival.
