Niecy Nash-Betts teases Travis Kelce’s ‘very charming’ role in ‘Grotesquerie’

Niecy Nash-Betts had a blast working alongside Travis Kelce on the set of Ryan Murphy’s new series, “Grotesquerie.”

“Travis was very open. He was very open on if there was a note given or a suggestion given,” she said of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s performance, adding that Kelce was “so amenable.”

While speaking to People on Monday, the Emmy winner then added that “fans are going to find him very charming in this role.”

Nash-Betts even went as far to express her admiration for the 34-year-old’s humbleness during his cameo on the show.

“I love that he didn’t come in trying to act like, ‘I know everything and I know it all,’” she said.

The 54-year-old actress also recalled Kelce asking for her expert advice during their time on the thriller.

“‘Tell me what I don’t know. Tell me what your thought is on this,’” Nash-Betts remembered the NFL star asking her.

Of course, she wasn’t the only one that was excited to have Kelce on the set of “Grotesquerie.” She also recalled the entire crew gushing over Taylor Swift’s boyfriend.

“It was funny because I saw people’s reaction to him before I really could take him in,” Nash-Betts said.

“All the guys — these big guys on the set, the grips, transpo [sic] — everybody was just fangirling all the way. And I’m like, ‘Oh my god, guys!’”
