And just like that, Nicolas Cage has entered the chat.
The actor addressed his and Sarah Jessica Parker’s short-lived romance for the first time, hours after she confirmed on “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen” that they once dated.
“I cared about Sarah,” the “Wicker Man” star, 61, told E! News in a statement Monday.
However, Cage clarified to the outlet that he didn’t “pass the Mom test” — and claimed this is why Parker ghosted him.
“I recall sitting down with her and her mother, [Barbara Parker], for dinner at the Russian Tea Room,” he explained. “I don’t know if it was my blue Vanson Leather motorcycle jacket (which I still have) or my sinusitis, but I didn’t hear from her again.”
Sarah Jessica’s rep has yet to respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The “Sex and the City” alum, 60, did not divulge any details about the relationship during her appearance on the Bravo talk show Sunday.
At the time, Andy Cohen asked, “Did you date Nick Cage?”
Sarah Jessica replied, “Um, yes. I did. Yes, I did.”
The 57-year-old host, who is one of the actress’s close friends, reacted with a shocked expression.
“Oh, wow,” Cohen said. “Oh, we’ve got some talking to do.”
Sarah Jessica and Cage, notably, co-starred in “Honeymoon in Vegas,” which was filmed in 1991 and came out the following year.
While it is unclear exactly when the duo dated, Sarah Jessica moved on with her now-husband, Matthew Broderick, in 1992.
The duo wed in 1997 and have since welcomed three children — son James, 22, and twins Tabitha and Marion, 16.
Sarah Jessica told “WWHL” viewers that she knew the “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” actor, 63, was “The One … pretty early” into their time together.
“I remember I had to leave to go on location to shoot a movie,” she remembered. “We were on East 10th Street [in New York City], and I was getting in a car to go away for a while. I remember thinking, ‘I love him.’”
Cage, for his part, tied the knot with wife Riko Shibata in 2021 after previous marriages to Patricia Arquette, Lisa Marie Presley, Alice Kim and Erika Koike.
The Oscar winner shares daughter August, 2, with his 30-year-old partner, as well as sons Weston, 34, and Kal-El, 19, with Christina Fulton and Kim, respectively.
