Nia Long files for full physical custody of son Kez, claims ex Ime Udoka ‘failed’ to provide support

Nia Long is requesting legal and physical custody of her and Ime Idoka’s 11-year-old son, Kez.

In court documents obtained by Page Six, the “Best Man” actress alleged that the NBA coach “has failed” to provide support for their son in the wake of their breakup.

However, the 52-year-old actress does want her ex-fiancé to be granted “reasonable visitation” that is “consistent with the child’s best interest.”

Long filed the paperwork on Aug. 14 in Los Angeles County Superior Court — nearly one year after news broke about Udoka’s bombshell affair with a Boston Celtics staffer.

Three months after the affair made headlines, the pair decided to call it quits after 13 years together.

Following their split, Long admitted that Kez was having a “really tough time” coping with the situation.

“My only focus right now is my youngest son ’cause he’s having a really tough time,” the actress told the Cut in February. “I’m sure I have some things that I’m suppressing, but I have to do that to take care of him first. That’s the giving. It’s natural.”

Udoka, 45, was fired that same month due to his romantic relationship with the team’s service manager, Kathleen Nimmo Lynch — which Kez took particularly hard.

“He still has moments where it’s not easy for him,” the actress told The Hollywood Reporter.

“I think the most heartbreaking thing about all of this was seeing my son’s face when the Boston Celtics organization decided to make a very private situation public,” the “Boyz n the Hood” star added.

Despite being “blindsided” by the cheating scandal, Long — who is also the mother of Massai II, 22, with ex Massai Dorsey — has seemingly taken the high road.

In April, the “You People” star posted a cryptic message about moving on to her Instagram.

“The best revenge, is no revenge. Move on. Be happy,” the quote read atop a black screen.

Udoka and Long’s romance began in 2010, and Kez was born the following year. The athlete got down on one knee in 2015.
