The price of every Netflix plan in Australia just became a little more expensive.
The standard Netflix plan with ads has jumped from $7.99 per month to $9.99, making it $24 more expensive per year.
The standard plan without ads has also risen by $2 per month from $18.99 to $20.99.
And the premium Netflix subscription plan, which is the most expensive, has been raised by $3 from $25.99 to $28.99 per month.
Along with new plan prices, Netflix has also increased the cost of adding an extra member to your plan.
It will now cost you $6.99 per month to add an extra user to the standard plan with ads, up from $5.99.
The cost of adding someone to the standard plan without ads will now cost $8.99, up from $7.99.
Combined with the price change in May 2024, the cost of the cheapest Netflix plan has risen by nearly 43 per cent in just over 12 months.
The ad-free Netflix plan has also risen by 25 per cent in the same timeframe.
Netflix axed its $12.99 basic plan in February this year, making it more expensive for users to enjoy streaming content without ads.
