NFL fans will get to relive Jerry Jones’ glory days in a 10-episode docuseries after Netflix reportedly won the bidding war for streaming rights with a $50 million offer.
The owner, president and general manager of the Dallas Cowboys has had a movie-script career since purchasing the team in 1989, and the story will now actually hit the screens.
While the deal hasn’t officially been finalized, Netflix allegedly outbid both Amazon and ESPN.
The docuseries will focus on Jones’ Cowboy teams from the 1990s when the franchise won Super Bowls in 1993, 1994 and 1996 –– coming into true form of “America’s Team.”
With the early success, Jones, 80, made NFL history as the first owner to lead his squad to three Super Bowl championships in his first seven years of ownership.
Dallas also became the first team to secure three titles in four years.
Beyond the football accolades, Jones became an icon in and outside the NFL and helped shape the league’s present day culture.

It’s reported the docuseries will have previously unseen interviews with quarterback Troy Aikman, running back Emmitt Smith and wide receiver Michael Irvin — all key pieces to the Cowboys’ reign in the early1990s.
The release timeline for the series has not been shared yet, but the highly anticipated project has already been compared to “The Last Dance.”
NFL Films, in partnership with Skydance Sports, will produce Jones’ story.

Dallas has made it to the postseason 11 times since winning its last Super Bowl in 1996, but has not made deep runs in recent years.
The Cowboys were booted from the divisional round of the 2022 playoffs by the San Francisco 49ers.
Nonetheless, Jones has three NFC championships, 12 NFC divisions championships and three Super Bowls under his belt.
