The man was discovered just after 12.20am on Maloney Street in Eastlakes.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, but the man died shortly after.
He is yet to be formally identified.
Police, with the assistance of the homicide squad, are investigating the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
A crime scene has been established.
