Myles Turner is bidding Pacers fans a fond farewell after his 10-year stint in Indiana.
The center, who surprisingly signed a four-year, $108.9 deal with the Bucks earlier this month, wrote a long and heartfelt message to fans on Instagram as he makes the transition to his new team and city.
“It’s hard to put into words what the past 10 seasons and past 10 years of my life has meant to me,” Turner wrote. “From a teenager out of Bedford, Texas to the MAN and player I am today, Indy has been home through it all.

“You watched me grow up — on and off the court. Just like you I put my hard hat on and clocked in and out every single day…”
And during his introductory press conference Friday, Turner said his move to the Bucks revolved around “staying competitive,” according to ESPN.
“Two years ago, we got to the conference finals,” Turner told reporters, according to the outlet. “Obviously, last year we got to the Finals. Being a big part of winning basketball just changed my entire perspective on this league. I saw a chance to remain competitive here.”
Turner, 29, was selected 11th overall by the Pacers in the 2015 draft.
The Texas product is both rim protector and presence in the paint, as well as a stretch big with the ability to knock down 3-pointers.
He’s a career 39.6 percent shooter from distance.
Turner played a key role as the Pacers made their magical run to Game 7 of the NBA Finals, although he struggled in the Finals and combined for just nine points and eight rebounds in Games 6 and 7.

Last season, he averaged 15.6 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.
In his post, Turner went on to thank several local businesses in Indianapolis before offering his message to Pacers fans.
“It’s been an absolute privilege to play at Bankers Life/Gainbridge Fieldhouse…you’ve been loyal through it all. You packed the Fieldhouse, rocked with us on the road, lifted me when I needed it most, and held me accountable when I needed that too.
“Man…I’ve damn near spent more time with y’all than I’ve gotten to spend with my own family over the years. That’s real love, and I can’t thank you enough for embracing me from day one.”
The two-time block champion then thanked his former teammates and coaches and Pacers staff members, and closed it out by writing: “See you soon.”
