Two men have been charged after police found suspected human remains in their search for missing Melbourne woman Isla Bell.

Bell, 19, was last seen leaving her Brunswick home address at about 6pm on October 4.

Her disappearance has been investigated as suspicious by police.

Yesterday evening, police located yet-to-be-formally identified remains in Dandenong.

Police also arrested three men after carrying out search warrants at two properties in Bentleigh East and Mulgrave.

A 53-year-old St Kilda man was charged with murder, and a 57-year-old Hampton man has been charged with aiding him.

A 63-year-old man was released pending further inquiries.

Police said Bell’s family had been notified of the new developments and support services would be in place for them.
