MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle says Trump is more accessible than Biden — but jokes he told her to ‘go f–k myself’ when she asked for interview

MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle praised Donald Trump for being more accessible than President Joe Biden, though she joked the Republican told her to “go f–k myself” when she called him to ask for an interview.

Ruhle, the host of “The 11th Hour” at the left-leaning network, said she managed to get in touch with Trump by simply “dialing his phone” — a sharp contrast from the hoops she would have to jump through to have a conversation with Biden or Vice President Harris.

“if I were to want to connect with VP Harris or President Biden, there’s 50 people between me and that I could write a note that maybe could get to somebody to get somebody that (through) Pony Express and a pigeon, something might end up in a mailbox near them,” Ruhle lamented on a talk-show show hosted by Lukas Thimm.

Ruhle recounted how she “rolled the dice” and phoned Trump after his Oct. 27 rally at Madison Square Garden during her sit-down Saturday with Thimm, a former production assistant for Jon Stewart who airs his show “So Many Issues with Lukas” on his Substack.

“I wasn’t calling to chit-chat. I said, ‘Mr. President, this is Stephanie Ruhle, you made a lot of comments last night.’ It was not an on-the-record conversation, so I’m not going to get into what he said,” Ruhle told Thimm.

Ruhle said she told Trump she wanted to “sit down for an interview” five days before the election.

“Obviously, he said no,” Ruhle said.

Nonetheless, she marveled at how “I was able to get to him by dialing his phone.”

“I called DJT to say, ‘Yo, can I get an interview?’ And he told me to go f–k myself, but I still was able to connect with him,” she said.

Her comments were reported by Mediaite.

An MSNBC spokesperson declined to comment. The Post has sought comment from the White House and the Trump transition team.
